Welcome to my world By ~Gerardine Baugh

Welcome to my world
Float with me between the grasses
Search out the sweet scented milkweeds
The heady heavy blooming flocks
I drift within a cocoon of pleasure
I bump into a presence not recognized inside my world
I slip around it ignoring iridescent wings
And continue on with my song.

Dear friends I would like to introduce you to a new friend called Silindile Ntuli, this extraodinary lady has had many health issues to deal with including the dreaded amnesia, she is building up her confidence and  considers her blog as a way to mend faster, and a  way to communicate with the World.
I was taken aback with this girls bravery and I hope you will visit her to support her in her campaign back to Health.

"I am a 25 year old girl whose life was turned upside down one morning back in 2004, it has been 6 years since that day, I am bed bound right now, I have amnesia and I would like to tell my story because I believe in the power of talking about things. I hope as I write everyday some people will read and see themselves in me and I hope as I walk this journey of healing we can walk together and help each other. My other wish is that some will read this and offer advise and kind words...
This is a story of me, I am Silindile Ntuli, I haven't stopped believing, I haven't stopped fighting and I will never give up on my journey into healing.
Please stay with me as I tell my story..........

I had a full life 6 yrs ago, not a safe life but it was good. OK you're wondering why I said that, truth is I was a fun loving person, show me a place where fun is to be had and you bet you bottom dollar I'll be there, but it wasn't so much about the partying and drinking and loud music that got me, I was more interested in forgetting my thoughts, shutting them down and only hearing the pointless banging of the radio and keeping the ball rolling, stay with me, you will know all about it.

I'm not a complicated person, I'm just a girl that has had a lot of bad things happen to her, it started when I was just a baby and what do you know, it's still happening but I am determined to beat this illness, I am determined to get my life back because a determined heart is a very powerful tool."

Today folks I would like to introduce you to a VERY special lady, SHAKIRA, this girl is a superb writer, loving, faithful to her friends and well worth a visit to sample her extraordinary blogs, yes friends she has two, and each one as unique as the other.

What can I say about myself?
Born Choong Lai Koon and going by the name, Shakira , I am a 44 years old woman. A snake and taurean. I am a mother to two daughters, Jasmine 17 and Alexys 15.
I was married for 12 years to a really awful marriage . Sadly,  I did not really marry for love, more for just wanting to start a family and finally have a family whom I can love and whom I love dearly. Besides my late dad, I really feel not love by my mother, 3 brothers and a sister. I do love them though I do not like them. LOL. I married in January 11, 1991 which was the GULF WAR and I was divorced in IRAQ WAR! LOL.
I am remarried to a most WONDERFUL man in 2007. I have NEVER been HAPPIER, SO IN LOVE and SO LOVED. I am SO BLESSED that I am able to provide a REAL FATHER to both my daughters. I have never love a man the way I love him!
Will continue…..
Hugs ,
shakira choong kwok
